Cellvation® enables sewage treatment plants to recover cellulose from used toilet paper. VAZENA Project is the first commercial application of recovered cellulose from wastewater and it realizes the commercial value of recovered cellulose. By using recovered cellulose as asphalt additive, used toilet paper is given a second life in civil engineering. Bike paths are paved with recovered cellulose from used toilet paper in the province of Fryslân. Vazena project is a real-life example that Cellvation® redefines the role of sewage treatment plants in the water industry and becomes part of the circular economy.
